IDF soldiers killed four Palestinian terrorists and wounded five others in two separate incidents in the Gaza Strip on Tuesday, Palestinian hospital officials said. The army said a tank fired a shell at a group of people laying wire on the ground near soldiers, apparently preparing a bomb. A second Palestinian was killed in the same area by a sniper. The army confirmed shooting that man, and said he was also trying to plant a bomb. Earlier in the day, IAF planes attacked targets in the Gaza Strip late Tuesday morning, striking a group of three armed men. The cell was spotted entering the Sajaya neighborhood. Palestinians reported that five people were struck, and two of them were seriously wounded. Later in the morning, Palestinians fired three anti-tank rockets at IDF troops operating near the Karni crossing in the Gaza Strip. The IDF reported that no one was wounded in the incident, and no damage was caused. The troops returned fire. Earlier yet, two Al-Aksa Martyrs' Brigade members were killed in a gunbattle with IDF troops in the Balata refugee camp in Nablus, Palestinian sources reported. The troops surrounded the hosue where suspects were hiding, and a gunbattle ensued. The men were identified as Ibrahim Neibe and Hani Hashash. Hashash was responsible for dispatching the terrorist who perpetrated the suicide attack near Kedumim in March of this year, in which four people riding in the same car as him were killed. Another suspect was seriously wounded in the fighting. Two Israeli soldiers were lightly wounded in the clash as well. Troops also arrested three Palestinian fugitives overnight Monday in the West Bank. Two of the men were caught northeast of Ramallah. An Islamic Jihad member was apprehended in Hebron. Palestinian gunmen opened fire at IDF soldiers operating near Kalandiya, although no one was wounded and no damage was caused in that attack. Meanwhile, the Red Dawn early warning system sounded in Sderot on Tuesday morning. A Kassam landed in the area shortly thereafter, but no one was hurt in the attack. The IDF responded by resuming its artillery fire at the northern Gaza Strip launch sites. On Monday, undercover IDF troops killed a wanted Palestinian terrorist in downtown Ramallah, security officials said. The Palestinians identified the dead man as Ala al-Aradi, 25, a member of the Al Aksa Martyrs' Brigades who had eluded army troops for four years. The army said al-Aradi was responsible for the murder of Israeli truck driver Moshe Yohai who was shot dead in the village of Beit Rima in 2004.
