The IDF raised the alert on its positions along the northern frontier out of concern Hizbullah would attempt to shell northern Israel in retaliation of an IAF flyover above the palace of Syrian President Bashar Assad early Wednesday.
The alert was also raised in light of the situation in the Gaza Strip.
