IDF forces are searching for a Kassam rocket that was fired from the outskirts of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip Sunday afternoon. The rocket was believed to have fallen near Kibbutz Nir Yitzhak in the western Negev.
Israeli security officials noted that the rocket was fired from an area outside the "no-go" zone in northern Gaza and close to the security fence on the outskirts of Khan Younis.
There were no reports of casualties or damage.
