Inbal Amram's killer indicted

Muhammad Jahidi, the 21-year-old Kalkilya resident accused of killing Inbal Amram in early March, was indicted on Thursday. The indictment claimed that Jahidi had crossed into Israel with the intention of stealing a car. When Amram resisted the robber, he allegedly pushed her into the car and stabbed her during a struggle that took place while the car was in motion. The defense attorney told the Tel Aviv District Court that Jahidi confessed to the crime and expressed remorse, saying "I made a mistake, I didn't mean to kill her. I would like to ask [Amram's] family for their forgiveness."
