Indian Sikh delegation for peace arrives in Israel

Leaders of the Sikh faith have arrived in Israel with the goal of helping to end the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. At the head of the delegation of 14 is His Holiness Bahaisahibaji Monindar Sing, who holds the title of "Keeper of the Golden Temple." The delegation will stay in Israel and the territories for ten days and will meet with Jewish, Christian, and Muslim leaders. Among those scheduled to meet the Sikh leaders are Eliyahu Bakshi Doron, formerly Chief Rabbi of Israel, Sheik Abdul Salaam of Nazareth, and leaders of Bethlehem's Muslim and Christian communities. Adherents of the Sikh faith in India number in the tens of millions.
