An IDF patrol along Israel's border with Lebanon on Friday night identified two men trying to infiltrate Israel. The patrol opened fire and wounded one of the men, while the second escaped. The wounded man was taken into custody and transfered to a medical facility for treatment. A large bag in his possession contained an unspecified type of illegal narcotic, Channel 10 reported. The incident took place in Ghajar, a town divided by the Israel-Lebanon border. Meanwhile, IDF troops shot two Palestinians who were crawling near the security fence separating the Gaza Strip from Israel on Friday night, apparently planting an explosive device, the army said. No further details were available on the shooting in central Gaza.
