Islamic states accuse IDF of war crimes
Summit communique: Israel must be responsible for collective punishment of Palestinian civilians.
The Organization of the Islamic Conference intends to accuse Israel of war crimes against Palestinian civilians, Reuters reported Friday.
A draft of the final communiqué in the Islamic summit currently underway in Senegal condemned what it referred to as the "current and increasing Israeli military campaign against the Palestinian people and the serious violation of human rights and war crimes."
The draft communiqué said that Israel "must be held responsible" for its "collective punishment of Palestinian civilians."
The final version of the communiqué is expected to be approved at the conclusion of the summit in Dakar. The OIC comprises 57 countries, and is the second-largest body of nations after the United Nations.
