Israel's leaders were scheduled to participate in the national laying of the wreaths ceremony at 10 a.m. on Tuesday in commemoration of Holocaust Memorial Day.
The ceremony will begin immediately following a two-minute siren that will be sounded throughout the country.
Hundreds of names of Holocaust survivors will be read in the Knesset plenum as part of the Every Person has a Name program.
The central memorial event will take place at 1 p.m. at Yad Vashem.
