Israeli doctors perform marathon of surgeries in Gaza

A convoy of Physicians for Human Rights (PHR) medical personnel entered Gaza on Thursday to perform a marathon of orthopedic surgeries at the European Hospital in Khan Yunis
The convoy included two orthopedists, two psychologists and PHR's clinics director. The
surgeries began at 15:00 and will continue through Friday at 13:00.
PHR said that the doctors will perform surgeries including knee and hip replacements and that the convoy's mental health personnel will hold training sessions, conduct certifications for dozens of mental health workers and will work with Palestinian families affected by the recent fighting in the Strip.
