Jerusalem's regional planning council on Wednesday authorized plans to construct a recreational park near the city entrance which would include a large artificial lake.
Authorities plan to build the park in the Motza valley, preserving existing aspects of the scenery such as ancient ruins and springs, while developing the infrastructure and creating bicycle trails, camping grounds, a promenade and more.
