A 60-year-old Jerusalem woman was assaulted late Thursday in her city apartment by a young Arab assailant who stole her necklace and apparently stabbed her, police said.
The assailant fled the scene.
The woman, who was lightly wounded in the attack on the edge of the city's Armon Hanetziv neighborhood, was taken to hospital by paramedics.
The Jewish woman told police that she knew the identity of her attacker.
