J'lem student warns police: PM assassination today

A Jerusalem yeshiva student called police's emergency hot-line Monday, and said that Prime Minister Ariel Sharon would be assassinated during the course of the day, police said. The afternoon phone call was traced to the city's Hassidim (righteous) yeshiva. The premier was being hospitalized under a tight security cordon at Jerusalem's Hadassah University Hospital at Ein Kerem Monday after undergoing a minor stroke a day earlier.
