Kadima and Gil to sign first coalition agreement

Kadima and Gil Pensioners' Party were expected to sign the first coalition agreement on Tuesday afternoon. According to the deal reached between the two parties, MK Rafi Eitan was to be appointed as Minister for Elderly Affairs within the Prime Minister's Office, while No. 2 Ya'acov Ben-Yizri would be Health Minister. Kadima also expressed hope that a second coalition deal would be signed with Labor on Tuesday, Army Radio reported.
