Kadima's internal court decided on Tuesday to reject an appeal by five Kadima candidates to move down Rachel Adato from the 22nd slot on the party's Knesset slate that had been reserved for a woman.
The candidates said there was no reason to reserve a slot for a woman because four women were elected in the party's top 10. The court ruled that the reservation was indeed in tact.
Meanwhile, the Tel Aviv District court will announce its verdict on Wednesday about whether to restore Moshe Feiglin and two other Likud candidates to their original slots on the party's Knesset slate after an internal court demoted them two weeks ago.
