Karadi removes officers for illegal raid on clinic

Police Insp.-Gen. Moshe Karadi removed a high-ranking Immigration Police officer from his position and decided to press disciplinary charges against two additional officers after the three participated in a raid on an institution for Alzheimer patients in Ramat Gan three weeks ago. The raid was exposed in Ma'ariv and was reportedly against regulations which forbid raids in search of foreign workers on medical institutions. According to the police findings, the officers knocked loudly on the hospital doors and searched the facility while waking up the patients by pulling off their covers and pointing flashlights in their faces.
