The Knesset on Wednesday approved by 35 votes to nine a proposal by MK Menahem Ben-Sasson (Kadima) to establish a parliamentary investigation committee to look into police wiretapping.
The proposal was submitted following a State Attorney's Office report of wiretapping during the investigation of former justice minister Haim Ramon.
