The Knesset on Wednesday rejected by a huge majority the proposal by Yisreal Beiteinu to change the governmental system.
Yisreal Beiteinu proposed that elections would revert to a system of separate party and prime ministerial voting and that the minimum threshold (the percentage required by a party to obtain a Knesset seat) would rise considerably.
