Lebanese official: Samir Kuntar will return to Lebanon on Sunday

If there are no last-minute complications, Samir Kuntar will return to his hometown of Abiya on Sunday, the head of Abiya's local municipality Nazia Hamzeh has said. In an interview that will be published Friday in Nazareth paper A-Sinara, Hamzeh said the main celebrations would be held in the Dahiya neighborhood in Beirut, a Hizbullah stronghold. There Kuntar would meet with Hizbullah secretary-general Hassan Nasrallah. Kuntar would then return to Abiya to continue the celebrations, he said. Meanwhile, Kuntar's brother and lawyer both told the paper that, according to their information, the prisoner exchange deal has already been finalized and will be executed within days.
