"We need to start talking to whoever possible in the Palestinian Authority and at this moment that is Chairman Mahmoud Abbas," said Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni on Wednesday night.
Livni said that direct contacts with the PA chairman would enable Israel to find out first hand what is happening inside the PA, adding, "I don't like mediators - not Arab newspapers nor intelligence."
