Livni: Israel is on the front of the battle against extremists

"Israel is on the front of the battle against extremists that are fighting against the entire western world," Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni said Tuesday. During a meeting with Norwegian opposition leader Erna Solberg, Livni said that he who believes closing ones eyed to terrorists will stop them "fails to understand that the struggle can reach his country too." The foreign minister stressed that Israel would fight the terror that was continuing to emanate from Gaza and mentioned Monday's Kassam rocket attack which severely wounded a young boy in Sderot. "The world needs to understand the nature of Hamas as a terror group with an extremist ideology, and continuing its delegitimization is an important stage in fighting the against the organization and its terror activities," she added.
