Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni will visit Russia in three weeks, Israel Radio reported Wednesday overnight.
Livni was invited to visit the Asian state by the Kremlin.
During her visit, Livni will try to convince the Russians not to supply Iran with either weapons or nuclear fuel for the nuclear facility at Bushehr.
On Wednesday, Iran announced that Russia has agreed to supply it with S-300 missiles, land-to air missiles which are reportedly among the most advanced in the world today. Russia has not confirmed the Iranian announcement.
