Ofer Karmi, who was convicted of attempting to rape a five-year-old girl, was sentenced to six years in prison on Thursday with another two years pending, as part of a plea bargain.
Karmi, who attacked the girl after coming to her house to clean carpets, was initially indicted on charges of rape and sodomy, but the verdict was reduced in the plea bargain.
