Police arrested a 40-year-old Kfar Kara resident on Monday on suspicion of involvement in an incident the previous day in which a hitchhiker jumped from a moving vehicle near Hadera because she thought that the driver intended to kidnap her.
The suspect, who confessed to being associated with the case, was due to be brought before the Hadera Magistrate's Court for a remand extension.
