Marshak: Gaza cash transfer will harm efforts to release Schalit
By JPOST.COM STAFF
Yoel Marshak, Head of an organization fighting for the release of captive soldier SSgt. Gilad Schalit, criticized on Wednesday afternoon Defense Minister Ehud Barak's decision to approve the transfer of NIS 100 million to the Gaza Strip.
Marshak said the move would foil the efforts to release Schalit.
"We have no problem with transferring water and food, but cash-flow will directly fund terror," he warned.
