Minister: Hamas, al-Qaida could take over W. Bank if negotiations fail

If Israel and the Palestinians do not manage to make progress in negotiations in the coming year, Hamas and al-Qaida may take over the West Bank, Minister without portfolio Ami Ayalon said Wednesday.
Speaking to students at Tel Aviv Universit, Ayalon said "Hamas mostly fears the diplomatic process, and not the IDF. We've taught them that we only understand force."
