MK Uri Ariel (NU/NRP) submitted a bill on Wednesday for the dissolution of the 17th Knesset.
Ariel cited the government's failure to act appropriately during war and the rampant corruption of 17th Knesset during its first 100 days in office.
The 16th was dissolved after such a bill was submitted in early 2006. Two thirds of the Knesset would have to vote in favor of the bill to dissolve the current government.
