MK Shalom: Gov't's Mecca stance shows hesitation

Former foreign minister MK Silvan Shalom (Likud) said Monday that the government has been sending messages of hesitation in its recent managment. In an interview with Israel Radio, Shalom criticized the government's stance on last week's agreement between Fatah and Hamas in Mecca - namely, that it "neither accepts nor rejects" the deal between the Palestinian factions. According to Shalom, if Israel doesn't decisively reject the agreement, there will be no reason for the international community to do so.
