The Knesset issued a report on Tuesday describing unusually large sums of money, originating from the national budget, spent by politicians under the clause of "contact with the voters."
Noteworthy costs included NIS 1800, spent by MK Avraham Poraz on identifying wire-tapping and other eavesdropping technology. MK David Levi bought a NIS 2800 coffee machine.
Other costs included several hand-held computers, English lessons, business cards, obituaries, and professional consultation.
