Motorcyclist, 19, seriously hurt after being hit by taxi

A 19-year-old motorcyclist was seriously injured Monday morning after a taxi hit him on Rehov Hatayelet in Ashdod.
Magen David Adom paramedics were called to the scene and evacuated the youth to a local hospital.
Police investigators were called in to determine the cause of the accident. An initial inspection indicated that the taxi driver might have failed to yield, subsequently hitting the motorcyclist.
