A 23-year-old who shot and killed two men during a dispute over a debt was ordered sent Monday for a psychiatric evaluation, police said.
The suspect, Alexei Prauverzansky, allegedly shot and killed the two in a Jerusalem flat Sunday evening. His attorney told a Jerusalem court that his client had been discharged from the IDF for psychological reasons.
In addition to sending the suspect for a psychiatric evaluation, the court remanded him in custody for ten days. The identity of the victims has not been released for publication pending notification of next of kin.
