Head of the criminal investigations unit, Northern District prosecutor Mirit Shatran said on Monday that Roman Zadarov, accused of murdering 13-year-old Tair Rada, was guilty.
"Never before was more intensive and professional investigation conducted, like the investigation into the murder of Tair Rada," Shatran said.
In March, the Rada family demanded from the State prosecutor that another investigation be opened into Tair's murder. Their lawyers, Moshe and Shira Maroz, claim that they discovered "fundamental conflicts" between the details of the indictment against Zadorov and what actually happened.
"We turned to the State prosecutor and demanded that he open a new investigation," the lawyers told Army Radio.
