Name of woman found dead in Haifa apartment released: Sharon Yaniv

Police released on Sunday identified Sharon Yaniv, 56, as the name of the woman found dead in her in Haifa apartment on Saturday.
Also on Sunday, police are expected to recommend a remand extension for a 26-year-old man who is suspected of having connections to her death.
According to an initial police investigation, bruises on the woman's body indicated that she was murdered, although solid proof of the matter was said to be lacking.
