NII to raise social security by 2.7%

The National Insurance Institute said Thursday that as a result of Attorney General Menahem Mazuz' decision to raise the minimum wage, social security benefits would be adjusted by 2.7 percent starting this month. Aside from his decision on the minimum wage, Mazuz also determined Wednesday that the child allowance would be raised starting this month by NIS 28, making the total payment NIS 148 per child, Army Radio reported.
