The number of Israelis who passed through the Taba border crossing into Egypt in 2006 decreased by nearly 30% compared to 2005, data released on Sunday by the Israel Airport Authorities showed.
The report reveals that only 390,000 Israelis crossed the border on foot during the year, most of them visiting the Sinai resorts.
