Olmert, Barak and Ashkenazi to hold emergency meeting on rocket fire

Prime Minister Ehud Olmert was scheduled to meet with senior officials from the defense echelon including Defense Minister Ehud Barak and IDF Chief of General Staff Lt. -Gen. Gabi Ashkenazi on Friday afternoon in Tel Aviv to discuss the ongoing Palestinian rocket fire into the western Negev.
Sixteen rockets have landed in Gaza periphery communities on Friday alone.
