The evening before the demolition of houses in the Amona outpost, Acting Prime Minister Ehud Olmert met with Yesha Council leaders Bentzi Lieberman, Ze'ev Hever and Pinchas Wallerstein,
who asked him to delay by approximately two months the demolition of the homes in order to resolve the legal problems regarding the site.
The Acting Prime Minister said that he had no intention of postponing the evacuation and added that it was his intention to carry out the High Court of Justice decision.
Acting Prime Minister Olmert and the Yesha Council leaders agreed they would continue their dialogue on various issues in the future.
