Prime Minister Ehud Olmert announced Wednesday before the Knesset's Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee that Israel would not exchange prisoners for the kidnapped soldiers.
Furthermore, he reminded the Knesset members that they must maintain a united front, and be aware of voicing their personal criticism to the press, as this would reflect badly on the war effort.
