Olmert says Israel is defeating Hizbullah

Prime Minister Ehud Olmert claimed on Tuesday that Israel was winning the war against Hizbullah. "The military campaign has created a new equation between the ability of Israel to that of Israel's enemies," said Olmert in a speech he delivered at the graduation ceremony of the National Defense College. "Every day that passes is one that IDF forces minimize Hizbullah's power," the prime minister added as he praised the graduates on their contribution to society. "You represent the strength in a combination of both military systems and civilian systems and prove that Israel has both the strength of the army and power of the population," he said.
