Despite promises that Prime Minister Ehud Olmert would make a decision on the cabinet
compromise reached by Israel Beiteinu and Labor last week, sources in the Prime Minister's Office said that Olmert had not yet reached a decision.
According to a spokesman for Olmert, there would be no cabinet reshuffle this week, and the prime minister was still debating whether to allow Labor to take the welfare portfolio, while handing the Science Ministry over to Israel Beiteinu.
