Olmert to hold press conference at 8 p.m. Israel time

Prime Minister Ehud Olmert will hold a special press conference on Wednesday at 8 p.m. Israel time, the Prime Minister's Office announced.
No further details were given as to the nature of the gathering.
Israeli media sources speculated Olmert was planning to announce that he will leave office as prime minister following the Kadima primary and annoucne his retirement from politics.
