PA government spokesman Ghazi Hamed said early Sunday morning that kidnapped BBC correspondent, Alan Johnston, is healthy and may be freed "in the near future."
Hamed said that he was personally involved in Johnston's release process.
Johnston, 44, was captured in March in Gaza City.
