Palestinians fire Kassam, mortar shell into southern Israel

Palestinians fired a Kassam rocket from the Gaza Strip into southern Israel on Friday afternoon. The rocket landed near a kibbutz in the Sha'ar Hanegev Regional Council. Meanwhile, a mortar shell exploded in the Kissufim area.
No casualties or damage were reported in either incident.
