Palestinians fire three rockets towards Israel

Israeli and Palestinian officials say the two sides traded fire across the Gaza border, but neither reported casualties. The IDF said Palestinians in the Gaza Strip fired three rockets at Israel but two landed in open ground and the third fell back into Palestinian territory. Hamas security officials said an Israeli surface-to-surface missile struck waste ground in the northern Gaza town of Beit Hanoun Saturday night but caused no injuries. The military said troops fired at and hit a group of Palestinians which had already fired at least one rocket and was preparing to launch more.
