Paris police say a book fair honoring Israeli writers is being evacuated after a bomb alert.
Guests of the Paris Book Fair are being asked to leave the premises. Police say they have no other immediate details.
The 28th edition of France's most important annual book show is honoring Israeli writers.
The Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization has urged people to boycott the March 14-19 book fair in response to what it calls Israel's "oppression" of the Palestinians.
