PFLP claims losses in IDF strike on Lebanon base

A Palestinian terrorist group said Sunday that one of its members was killed in Israeli airstrikes on its bases in Lebanon. It was the first known death of a Palestinian guerilla inside Lebanon in nearly a month of Israeli attacks. The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine General-Command said several guerrillas were also wounded in Israeli attacks on at least two bases in southeastern Lebanon. A statement from the Syrian-backed group issued in Damascus said Israeli warplanes have attacked a number of its positions in the eastern Bekaa Valley and south of Beirut throughout the war. The group identified the man killed as Amer Naser. "The US-Zionist enemy is still sending its criminal warplanes to attack the front's position, in a bid to undermine its national role in protecting the Palestinian people, Lebanon and the national Islamic resistance," the PFLP-GC said.
