Prime Minister Ehud Olmert, Finance Minister Avraham Hirchson and Education Minister Yuli Tamir presented on Sunday the cabinet decision to build 8,000 classrooms in the next five years.
The construction of the classrooms will cost around NIS five billion.
Olmert said that most of the classrooms would be set up in the haredi and Arab sectors.
