PM asks State to rent him office in TA costing NIS 350 m. for 5 years

Outgoing Prime Minister Ehud Olmert has asked the State to rent him an office in a plush Tel Aviv high-rise building which would cost taxpayers NIS 350 million over five years. The request was submitted by the Prime Minister's Office, and asks the Knesset to approve an office which is 140 square meters, and which is situated on the 15th floor of the Platinum Towers. The Knesset Finance Committee Chairman, Avishai Braverman, said that the request would be discussed only after the new coalition is formed.
