Embattled Prime Minister Ehud Olmert declared Thursday that he would continue to lead the country despite his unpopularity.
"I am an unpopular prime minister," Olmert admitted at a meeting of Kadima activists, acknowledging approval ratings that have approached single figures.
Dismissing his critics, he said, "Though we are in the midst of the hunting season, I am sorry to disappoint my detractors - I am here to lead."
