Police arrest 2 on suspicion of hurling grenades at TA Subaru dealership
By YAAKOV LAPPIN
Police on Monday arrested two people on suspicion of throwing stun grenades at a Subaru car dealership in Tel Aviv in early March.
The grenades were allegedly thrown as part of a long-running extortion attempt.
In the latest incident, police suspect the grenades were thrown as part of an attempt to undermine the police's case against other suspects previously arrested in connection with the attacks.
Police believe underworld figure Ben Cohen headed the extortion racket, and placed him under arrest at the beginning of March, together with two other suspects.
