Police arrest 7 haredi protesters in Beit Shemesh

Beit Shemesh police arrested seven haredim Monday morning after they hurled rocks at municipality workers who were removing signs that had been posted illegally. A Jerusalem district assistant spokesman reported that a few hundred haredim were holding a demonstration in Beit Shemesh to protest the removal of signs posted illegally. The demonstrators were hurling rocks and pouring oil on the road.
